For me, in this season, it has been micro-prayers.
These are simple, heartfelt expressions of my inner being to God.
God, help me.
God, thank you.
God, what’s going on?
God, show me how to love.
Etc.

I think in my every day busy and noisy world, I ignore so much. That includes the love and presence of God as He is working in, through, and around me. I know He is active in my world all the time. For me to best experience His love day to day I have to quiet the noise and busy-ness. I have to allow myself opportunities to sense His presence. In silent focus I can begin allowing Him to sort out my thoughts and priorities. And with the Bible open his word resonates deep into my mind.
For me to experience God’s love, means surrendering my selfish desires. Also to be filled with the amazing grace and peace that is found in those moments.

I love your answer! One habit I’ve settled into is that I usually take the time I’m driving in a car by myself to meditate and pray quietly. It’s not a legalistic rule but a gift to myself to experience God during my day.
