As we get close to the Easter season, I just wanted to share this series of 3 poems written and performed by Glen Scrivener from Speak Life about the Easter story. They’re theologically rich and will hopefully inspire you and cause some deep reflection over this season. He shares some deep insight into Jesus’ death and resurrection and what that means for us.
Thanks for sharing
First time to hear a spoken poetry that I would really admire. Used to think of this new poems without strictly observing rhyme and rhythm as a cheap literary form. And I never thought that the irony of Christs’s incarnation and atonement can be delivered in a funny way without being sacrilegious.
I might start taking note of this new poems from now on.
