I’ve been following Carmen Ime’s ‘Torah Tuesday’ series on YouTube where she’s been going through the story of plagues on Egypt. Each time, it strikes me of how God is bountiful with his Grace towards pharaoh before judgement is sent. Each judgement is a small step of warning before the final and dreadful judgement. That was God’s Grace wanting to give Pharaoh every chance He could give. God always gives a period of grace before judgement and I find that amazing!

We were going through the letters to the churches in the book of Revelation at my local church. We see a similar pattern of warning about the judgement to come and an opportunity for the churches to repent ( Rev 2:5, Rev 2:11, Rev 2:16, Rev 2:21, Rev 3:3, Rev 3:10). We are now living in this period of grace as summed up in 2 Peter 3: 8-9. Praise God! We will not be able to say that we were not warned when the future judgement arrives.
