In 1 John 1:1-2 we read,

It reminded me of John 17:3,
This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent—Jesus Christ.
I have walked through seasons where my Christianity was an intellectual exercise, a culture thing, a personal habit, and a social experience. All of those are fine… but I am grateful that I have come to know Jesus as life - the spiritual dynamism of being alive to God and empowered for his kingdom purposes.
